Our Programs

Young People's Philharmonic (YPP)

The Young People’s Philharmonic consists of seventy-five to eighty-five committed string, woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians from middle and high schools across the Lehigh Valley and Western New Jersey.

Junior String Philharmonic (JSP)

The orchestra consists of string players in grades 5 through 9.  They rehearse weekly from September through May, and perform a wide range of works by composers from centuries ago to the present day.

YPP Wind Symphony (YPPWS)

Performing contemporary wind literature as well as works from the traditional American Band era, the Wind Symphony promotes high quality musicianship, excellence in performance and strong leadership skills.

YPP Chamber Players

The YPP Chamber Players is a program that expands the scope of the Young People’s Philharmonic through study and performance of music for small ensembles consisting of one player per part.
