Audition for Presto Strings (Grades 3-6)

Every student should prepare a solo piece for their Presto seating audition. Choose music that confidently highlights your technical and musical ability. Memorization is not required; however if you choose to perform from memory, please bring a printed copy of your music to the audition.
As you prepare, keep in mind that a simpler piece performed well will be more effective than a more difficult piece that is not yet polished. Your selection should come from standard solo repertoire, such as a Suzuki book or a school method book.
